Georgian Town House Restoration & Extension
This project involves the restoration of and extension to a beautiful early 19th century Georgian Home which is both a Protected Structure and located within an Architectural Conservation Area. The proposals include the addition of a contemporary rear extension to facilitate an improved Kitchen/Dining/Living area, & works to assist with the reversal of the the negative impact of inappropriate previous works that have been carried out internally within the structure.
The proposed extension is of contemporary design with the use of render, glazing & stone to integrate within the context of the rear courtyard setting. The proposed interventions have been restricted to the minimum necessary to ensure the continued survival of the building, are in line with current practice and are appropriate for the long term use of the building.
