Extension to Semi Detached suburban dwelling
The challenge was to extend and enhance what had been a very small rear Kitchen/ Dining & Living area in a 1950’s semi-detached house and take advantage of large private rear garden which had the benefit of fantastic natural orientation.
A contemporary rear flat roofed extension has been carefully configured to protect the residential amenity of the adjoining dwellings whilst at the same time provide an uplifting open plan Kitchen/ Dining/Living space with enhanced flow, bathed in natural light and visually connecting with the rear garden
